Tour Overview
Budget tour adventure to Samburu Game Reserve, located in the hot and arid fringes of Kenya’s vast Nothern part. Home to the Samburu tribe, pastoral relatives of the Maasai.
The reserve has rugged and dramatic landscape – Owasso Nyiro Rivers runs along the Southern boundary, home to crocodile and hippo, with many animals visiting to quench their thirst during the heat of the day.
Wildlife expected during game drives include: buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and other plains game. Species unique to Samburu Reserve include beisa oryx, the long necked Gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and the blue shanked Somali ostrich. Often referred as the “Samburu Special Five”. The Itinerary

Day 1.
Depart Nairobi and drive North past coffee plantations via MT. Kenya to Samburu National Park. Picnic lunch and game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2.
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, Mid-morning game viewing, Afternoon game view drive . Meals and overnight at campsite.

Day 3.
Early morning game viewing, After breakfast proceed to Nairobi with game drive enroute out of the Park. Picnic lunch enroute arriving Nairobi late afternoon.
